English Corner!!

All right, all right. I see that you have written many stuff here. Well you know that my musical tastes are Rock (Lamb of God, Obituary, Slipknot) Anime (whatever opening or ending) and Techno (Music from discotheques or tha ones that are played in dance Dance Revolution game) the Other genres, like Reggaetón, Vallenato, EMO, Reggae, I cannot stand it... It is enough what I hear in the streets and in the buses...

As the non-official Moderator of this Topic, I'll give you some advise to post in english:

1) All the members can talk about any topic which cause a good conversation theme.
2) Bad words are NOT allowed. There are many word to express whatever you want, so do not use the vulgar ones.


So, to motivate the adequate conversation here and the life of this english forum, let's start with a topic:

What do you hate the most in the whole world? Write a anecdote to sustent why you hate that thing in specific.

For example: I am going to start:

1) I hate that somebody knock the bathroom door while I am inside.

Why I hate that? Because one day I was taking a shower but without a curtain. My mother was washing the curtain. So, my grandmother wanted to go to bathroom and knocked the door to get in. I replied that I was there taking a shower, but she did not care and got in... You may know what happened: My grandmother saw me naked!!! God it was so embarrasing! I had to cover myself with the towel and yell to my grandmother.

After this anecdote, I have to say that the times when you are in a bathroom (Taking a bath, doing number one or two, brushing your teeth or whatever you are going there) are sacred for any person. If you see that the bathroom is occupied, please wait and do not disturb...

Well that's my post. The next member who post here, type an opinion about my anecdote and write his/her own and so on...

Don't worry, Alucard! The idea is that you can improve your english in this theme. NOBODY is going to make fun of what you wrote. To improve, I suggest you to have a dictionary to a quick check if you see a unknown word, in order to enrich your vocabulary. The fluency and accuracy will be improved according with your practicing on writing, reading or speaking. All depends on how many hours you spend... Any doubts, you can counsel with me and/or Chaccal.

Well, returning to the topic, I see that there are not many people posted here since I left my first post and suggesting the topic to talk about. I Repeat: Don't Be afraid of posting here... the Idea is to speak your mind and write without fear...

ThorMaltese: hahahahaha I am glad that you liked my anecdote. Hanging the telephone when you are alone in your house is annoying! but even more annoying is when you are taking a shower and the phone rings, so you go to answer the phone and the call was over! Or when you are hurry and someone call and the person who calls asks you questions...
